Summary (14/10/2012)

At least 200 martyrs were reported today including 6 women and 5 kids. 100 tortured and executed bodies were found dumped in the National Hospital of Daraya, as if Daraya, the cultural centre of non-violent protest in Syria, hadn’t suffered enough. The clashes continue in all the usual places, with the regime raining down destruction from the sky, including cluster bombs, and the rebels gaining more land. The fighting continues in the historic heart of Aleppo, with the FSA preventing attempts by Assad’s forces to retake the damaged Umayyid mosque. We were among the millions who watched Felix Baumgartner jump today. Well done. Though we just have to say that everyday dozens of Syrians do that, just the other way around.
