At least 122 martyrs today, including 10 children and 6 women, mostly in Damascus, Idlib and Hama. That excludes the dozens reported killed in the bomb blasts that seemed to target Assad’s forces deployed in Saadallah Jabri Square in the centre of Aleppo. As usual, too many places are under shelling and bombing to mention. The deadliest attack was an airstrike on a village in Idlib killing 20 people, 10 of them from the Barakat family. Meanwhile, a Turkish woman and her 4 kids were killed when a Syrian mortar shell landed on the city of Akçakale, the first Turks to be killed in cross-border fire. The Turkish army has responded with artillery fire against Assad’s forces. Finally, we want to express solidarity with the brave protesters in Tehran today chanting “leave Syrian people alone, do something for our own.” See the map for more info.
