At least 140 martyrs have fallen today, mostly in and around Damascus where 2 massacres were committed by Assad’s forces – 20 were slaughtered in Jobar, while another 40 bodies including women and children were found in Hajar Aswad and neighbouring Yarmouk Palestinian Camp. Half of the martyrs were Palestinians. Meanwhile, 2 months after the bulldozers started working in Qaboun district, more than 1,600 buildings are reported razed, including hundreds of shops and businesses which residents were dependent on. There were more killings in Arba’een district of Hama, while Sahel al-Ghab in the countryside was heavily bombed. Fierce fighting continues in Aleppo, the new Homs, while the old Homs remains under siege. Meanwhile, the Iranian FM met Assad in Damascus, both trying to present themselves as “fair” and “balanced.” Just don’t mention the trail of blood dripping from their hands. See the map for more info.
