Summary (18/09/2012)

At least 100 martyrs have fallen today half of them are in Damascus where heavy clashes continue in Hajar Aswad, Assali and Qadam. At least 20 were killed in airstrikes in Deir Ezzor today while in Daraa the FSA fighters took over a military base, arresting 25 of Assad’s soldiers including 2 officers. In Raqqah the FSA says it is now in control of both Tal Abayad town and the border gate. A Turkish girl was killed and others were injured when Assad’s shells fell across the border during the fighting. Meanwhile, there is one estimate that 12% buildings in Syria have been damaged since March 2011. See the map for more info.
