At least 173 martyrs were killed today, mostly in Damascus and its countryside. In the capital, the regime forces again shelled Yarmouk camp, Tadamun and Assali while 23 executed bodies were found in Zamalka and 15 in the town of Deir al Assafir in the countryside. In Daraa, the regime attacked Tal Shehab on the Jordanian border, a transit point for those fleeing southwards, while bulldozers were at work razing homes in Hama. Meanwhile Aleppo is becoming the new Homs with hundreds of people fleeing the clashes everyday. The number of refugees stuck on the Turkish border not allowed to enter is now estimated at 10,000. Finally, more than 60 people died when their boat sank off the coast of Turkey, according to most reports they were Syrian and Iraqi refugees trying to get to Europe. See the map for more info.
