Summary (07/08/2012)

At least 140 martyrs are reported today, including 12 children, mostly in Damascus, Homs and Aleppo. Assad’s forces continue to attack villages, towns and cities across the country with tanks, artillery, helicopters and aircraft. The attack on Aleppo has not only driven hundreds of thousands to flee and join 2 million displaced but has also stopped most industrial production including medicine factories which is going to have a very heavy impact. Meanwhile, the first time that Assad has been seen in public for many days was to greet Said Jalili from Iran’s National Security Council. See the map for more info.
