At least 80 martyrs were killed today, mostly in Deir Ezzor and Damascus where shelling continues on Tadamon and clashes spread to the suburbs of Zamalka and Kafr Batna. For weeks there has been shelling on Lattakia countryside, pushing more families to flee to Turkey while in Jordan the refugees are wondering whether to die by Assad’s bullets or from thirst in their tents in the Jordanian desert. Aleppo is still the centre of the heavy clashes, where the FSA continues to advance despite being under heavy fire from the air. However, the regime says that 20,000 troops are now gathered outside Aleppo preparing to enter the battle. See the map for more info.
