At least 145 martyrs have fallen today among them 10 kids and 8 women – mostly in Damascus area where Zamalka and Yarmouk Camp were under shelling and dozens of casualties are in need of blood. Daraa was not any better where shells killed 10 martyrs from the same family in Buser al Harir. Homs, Hama, Idlib and Deir Ezzor are also still suffering the shelling and lack of basic medical or food supply, while the regime continues to send reinforcements to Aleppo. The FSA has been attacking the convoys as they pass through Idlib. Kofi Annan says he will end his role as UN and Arab League envoy to Syria at the end of the month – a belated recognition that his plan has utterly failed, while the UN Food and Agriculture Organisation says 1.5 millions are now facing starvation.
