Summary (23/07/2012)

It is now becoming routine that the number of daily recorded martyrs exceeds 100 and today was no exception – at least 111 martyrs have fallen  most of them in Damascus where 25 bodies were found in Barzeh and other dozens in Mezzeh and the suburb of Moaddamiya. The fighting continues in Aleppo and the shelling has never stopped in Daraa, Homs or Deir Ezzor. The most serious issue now in Syria (after the daily killing) is the very hard humanitarian situation for hundreds of thousands of people who are displaced inside Syria and in the neighbouring countries. Iraq has now said it will allow Syrian refugees to cross the border. See the map for more info.
