At least 72 martyrs have fallen today, mostly in Deir Ezzor, Daraa and Homs (including 14 just in Rastan, mostly kids) where helicopters are becoming a daily death tool beside tanks and mortars. Khaldiya in Homs remains under heavy bombardment and it’s unclear just how much longer they can hold out. After shooting at them to stop them reaching al-Haffeh yesterday, the regime has now invited the UN observers to visit the town, now they have declared it “cleansed of terrorists”. Meanwhile, Russia has not only been the regime’s main arms supplier and also providing political, diplomatic and media support. Russia is now also printing money for the Assad mafia to cover it’s monetary costs to wage war on the Syrian people to cling to power.
